We're Alchemy Community Kitchen, a project of Invest Attention, and we believe in a simple truth: when our neighbors are struggling, our community shows up.

Food insecurity touches too many families in our area—people facing impossible choices between groceries and rent, between nutrition and necessity. But here's what we know: our community has abundance to share, and together, we can transform crisis into connection.

Here's our vision:

We're partnering with local grocery stores and restaurants to rescue fresh ingredients before they expire—beautiful produce, quality proteins, wholesome staples that would otherwise go to waste.

Then, we're transforming these ingredients into delicious, healthy frozen meals. Meals made with love, packed with nutrition, and available to anyone who needs them—no paperwork, no judgment, no questions asked.

And here's what makes us different:

We'll host regular community meals where we all break bread together. Some people will come with extra to give. Some will come in need of care. And no one will know the difference.

Because that's what real community looks like—a table where everyone belongs, where dignity is preserved, and where we nourish each other in every sense of the word.

This is alchemy in action: turning surplus into sustenance, neighbors into family, strangers into friends, and food waste into food justice.
